Planning the European Day of Languages

The European Day of Languages is celebrated on 26th of September. We are celebrating this day because we think that it is important to promote the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe. Is so interesting that there are about 6500 languages in the world of which 225 are indigenous languages. To celebrate this day we decided to do some activities in our school.

Activity: TREASURE HUNT

Our teacher asked us to plan something about European day of languages and we have decided to make a treasure hunt with people from first year. We thought that this was a great idea to get to know other cultures and languages in a creative way.
The treasure hunt consists on making a circuit throught luberri while finding clues given just  if they answer correctly the questions we ask about Europe and languages to the participants.
We had the opportunity of doing the treasure hunt with students of the second level, it was so funny and we spent a good time. I like playing with kids!
